What auth methods did you choose (Basic, NTLM, Digest)? Typically, non-Windows clients (like MSNIM and Windows IM) fail to support NTLM auth. The fun part of this is that RFC 2617 requires the client to choose the strongest auth method it supports from the list of allowed auth methods provided by the server / proxy. What I've seen happen in many cases is that if any auth method other than Basic is seen "in the list", then the client (IM) will fail altogether, even if Basic is part of the list. I have anonymous access to the Internet disabled. All of my Win2k client use the FW client. I looked at Doc Tom's notes under turning off anonymous access. I created a site and content rule to allow outbound access for that IP number. But I still get a 407 error in the Konqueror browser that says authentication to ISA server failed. Anything that I missed? Any suggestions would be helpful. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
