First - don't try to edit the XML directly - your chances of success are *very* 
low. 
Second - make sure you have the latest MSXML installed on the ISA 2000 machine 
before running the export:

 try the export tool in Isa2004 CD but get always this error: 0x0040339 Schema 
validation failed on the exported XML document. For more details see the 
ParseError property

Somebody have developed a tool like the bellow but for export/import from 
isa2000 to isa2004?
