Nope. No replacement for TMG. I banged on that one with me account
manager for our EA for almost a year (since the Gartner report came out).
Some mumblings about some of the functionality being absorbed into the
server platform but TMG as we knew it is dead.
I've been looking at the F5 as a replacement. But then we didnt use the
proxy features of TMG. CheckPoint also provides a similar solution, I
hear. Not sure about the proxy side of the house.
My account manager at MS was also disappointed that I removed SA from our
TMG licenses when we renewed our EA. That one made little sense to me.
