Yes.. I have done that.. Now I am waiting to see if my 25k post makes it up here, in it is the xls file of the log. You run a log query, filtering for the interesting data, and use the "copy all to clipboard" when it's done. ..all discussed in the ISA help... ------------------------------------------------------- Jim Harrison MCP(NT4, W2K), A+, Network+, PCG http://isaserver.org/Jim_Harrison/ http://isatools.org Read the help / books / articles! ------------------------------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: Andrew English [mailto:andrew@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, March 03, 2005 06:45 To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Issue with ISA? http://www.ISAserver.org What's the easiest way to provide the logs? It's not like ISA allows you to save them in a simple readable format, like .cvs, or .txt ;) Andrew -----Original Message----- From: Jim Harrison [mailto:Jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, March 03, 2005 9:17 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Issue with ISA? http://www.ISAserver.org If you hit "Apply" in the sub-UI, ISA gets a "policy element changed" trigger. If you didn't actually change anything, you can simply hit "Discard". There have been a few folks complaining about log entries missing data, but so far, none have provided their logs for analysis (hint). -----Original Message----- From: Andrew English [mailto:andrew@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, March 03, 2005 5:38 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Issue with ISA? http://www.ISAserver.org I just found that on ISA 2004 Server with and without SP1 that their maybe a bug... I have been having problems with RPC over HTTP, so I went back through everything again as usually, this time I went into the publishing rule and as soon as I high lighted any of the Paths in the rule the apply button appeared, so when I clicked Apply the Apply button on ISA appeared. After clicking apply and started to do my testing again I noticed that when I attempted to connect via PRC over HTTP the rule name actually started to show up in the log. However this what happens.. 443 https Allowed Connection Publish OWA and RPC/HTTP Web.. (my IP) anonymous (client username) External RPC_OUT_DATA http://owa.clients-site.com:443/rpcproxy.dll?{exchange.clients-site.loca l}:6002 443 https Failed Connection Publish OWA and RPC/HTTP Web (my IP) anonymous (client username) External RPC_IN_DATA http://owa.clients-site.com:443/rpcproxy.dll?{exchange.clients-site.loca l}:6002 and it does it for port 6004, and 593 before giving me "your exchange server is unavailable" on outlook. You would think that once you create any rule that the Paths would be locked in thus even if you high lighted them ISA wouldn't enable the Apply button anymore, unless of course you changed or added a new path.
