Like Dan says you will be mostly likely able to find generic AUP's around but if what you were after was a criteria for setting up your firewall rule policy then that's going to be a little different. You see no two companies are the same (almost). What works for the goose (moffat) sometimes doesnt work for the gander (no comment). Some larger companies will have hundreds of rules in their ruleset. On the other hand small companies will have a need for very simple configuration and in most cases is a better option because it takes out the "mis-configuration" aspect. So a template is hard to transport between companies or firewalls because of a number of issues like purpose and placement of the firewall, address ranges, services provided both externally and internally (VPN, DNS, Mail, Web) However ISA 2004 does have nice little templates built in which will help you configure your firewall based on its purpose within the network Greg ________________________________ From: tim S [mailto:tim724342@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, June 24, 2005 1:34 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Internet Access Policy Template http://www.ISAserver.org I know this is not the right forum for this topic, but would like to know your suggestions. I am trying to come up with the company's internet access policies. Can someone point me to a template on the web? I really appreciate it. Thanks ________________________________ Yahoo!
