Your browser can't use the ISA-provided "local sites" data if you select "use a proxy". Instead, do some reading in the ISA help and online at www.isaserver.org for help with "wpad". -------------------------------------------- Jim Harrison MCP(NT4, W2K), A+, Network+, PCG http://isaserver.org/Jim_Harrison/ http://isatools.org Read the help / books / articles! -------------------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: Peter Hotchkiss [mailto:peter.hotchkiss@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, January 18, 2006 6:09 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Internal web servers http://www.ISAserver.org I'm using Network Engines NS6300 ISA appliances. For the most part they are working very well. One problem I've been having is accessing internal web sites or more accurately web interfaces. All of our multifunction copier/scanner/printers, HP jet direct cards etc. have web interfaces. When using the proxy I cannot access them. If I "uncheck" the proxy in IE I can access them. The same problem affects the web based management of the NS6300 itself. Have I missed something basic, or not so basic in configuring ISA? How do I make accessing internal "sites" bypass the ISA servers altogether?
