Hi John,

SMTP is a simple protocol, so the Firewall client is not required. Just
configure the thing as a SecureNAT client.

Subject: [isalist] Internal non-firewall client hardware reaching
external SMTP

Hi

I have a digital sender device (Minolta) which is configured to send
scanned jobs to my smtp server, my server sits on tyhe DMZ past my ISA
box. Now the Minolta can not have a firewall client installed, I am
having
trouble creating a rule on the ISA server to allow my Minolta so send a
mail to my SMTP box.

Any ideas would be most welcome

John
