ISA on the same machine of Active Directory

Hi guys
I urgently need your help on this, and I know most of you will say that
is wrong configurations , I need to install ISA 2004 on the same machine
of active directory , and it I will be only proxy and cash no firewall I
have PIX, but my problem is when I install ISA , the pc will not be able
to join to domain
The question is which protocols or access policy allows PC?s to join to
the domain or Active directory
