I was never able to fire that up, until I selected the Proxy setting, in IE. I will have to try that then and see what happens. Mike P.S. But still, there are times where I am surfing the MS Site for articles or downloading patches for ISA - but I suppose I could be performing that actual research using a PC behind the firewall, and then copy the files to the ISA Box when the time comes to install the updates... -----Original Message----- From: Jim Harrison [mailto:Jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Saturday, December 04, 2004 9:51 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: ISA can't browse http://www.ISAserver.org Windows Update is allowed by default. As a quick fix, I just set the Web Proxy settings of the browser, to the name of itself (either the machine name, or IP address). That way, it's just another browser on the network, in which it forwards the packets out for.
