Hi Adminone, Have you enabled the DHCP client packet filter? HTH, Tom -----Original Message----- From: adminone [mailto:adminone@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, November 17, 2003 8:21 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] ISA North Interface not assigned and IP address http://www.ISAserver.org I am currently using an ISA server behind the linksys router. It is primarily used for cache even though I have it installed in integrated mode. In any case, I removed the linksys router and decided to put the ISA server at the edge of my network. I connected the External Interface to the cable modem and the internal interface to a hub that connects my internal network. I rooted both the cable modem and the ISA server but the external NIC was not assigned an IP address. It read: 0.0.0.0. I know that the cable modem works because once I connected the linksys router back I was able to get on line just fine. Anyone of you guys out there has some instructions on how to get this working. I read the article on the isaserver site but that didn't help.
