Jim: Very interesting!

My ISA is in Workgroup mode and using RADIUS for remote VPN connection
authentication.

So, I assume I only need to count those accounts that establish remote
VPN connection? Correct?

Joe
P.S. one beer also goes to Jim.

Caveat - Windows still requires a CAL for each user being authenticated
by ISA.
Don't confuse one with the other or think that ISA licensing replaces
Windows licensing.

Dr. Tom / Dr. Thor: Thank you very much. My client cornered me and I
hesitated.

One beer goes to Tom and one to Thor.

ISA 2004 is licensed "per processor" not "per user."

All -

I hate the subject of licensing - but have to ask this question.

If I setup a Windows 2003 & ISA 2004 box (simply as an edge firewall and
nothing else) and have 100 computer/users behind it, do I have to have
as many CALS for them to pass through?

Thanks in advance.

Joe
