I have 3 remote sites for a client that runs BellSouth.net's PPPoe. The modem's LAN network gives my External ISA NIC an IP. I have the IP Passthrough option turned in the ADSL modem. . In the IP Passthrough setup the IP of the ISA will show up as an Option to select as the target for the passthrough. I placed all my PPOe Authentication info into the modem and select the option of "always on" vs. "on demand". One of the sites I did have a prblem with and had to give external NIC of ISA a static IP that was still in the LAN network that the modem was configured for. Please know it has been a few months since I set the last one up and I THINK I have told you right. I believe the modem brand supplied by BellSouth was Westel, but don't quote me on it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James May" <jmay@xxxxxxxxxx> To: "[ISAserver.org Discussion List]" <isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, October 21, 2003 5:58 PM Subject: [isalist] Re: How to configured ASDL with ISA server 2000 http://www.ISAserver.org Hi jlyon I have ADSL on a home network using SBS server I use Ras PPPoe software..........
