Make sure:
1. you don't have IIS running on the same box
2. you don't have both the Outgoing Web requests listener and Automatic
Discovery operating on port 80

Subject: [isalist] Help: ISA Web Proxy service failed to bind its socket

http://www.ISAserver.org

          Hello All,

I am getting this error in the ISA SERVER.

"Web Proxy service failed to bind its socket to 192.151.106.250 port 80.
This could be caused by another service that is already using the same port
or by a network interface card that is not functional. The error code
specified in the Data area of the event properties indicates the cause of
the failure."

I have WINDOWS 2000 ADVACED SERVER, SERVICE PACK 4, ISA SERVICE PACK 1.

I have restarted the server.
Tried to DISABLE/ENABLE Lan Cards
Removed IIS
But didnt work my way. Even all the 3 ISA SERVICES are started.

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,
Aths
