Firewall client and remote site

I have a vpn between sites setup. windows 2003 rras to isa2k4. All good,
however, I want to use the fwc at the remote site..

I mapped a drive to the client install dir, and installed it. The
problem is, every time I try to detect the isa server it returns an
error message, "Server returned unexpected data."

I downloaded the fwctool from ms and have ran the
testautodetect....comes up fine.

DNS is fine, wpad entry points to the right place etc.

Anyone had this issue, if so how did you resolve it?
