Did you force-refresh the FWC after changing the settings in ISA?

It only self-refreshes every 6 hours.

The app is pcsws. I disabled it in the firewall client setup on ISA but
that didn't seem to do anything. I looked at the firewall logs and you
can see entries for this app. It shows the request internal to external
denied, but with rule blank.

Hi Jeb,

You can disable the app in the FWC settings.

Subject: [isalist] Firewall Client Dilemma

http://www.ISAserver.org

I have a Cisco to Cisco router VPN set up for a vendor. I have a static
route on each computer that uses this vendor. I use IBM's client access
to access an AS/400 across this VPN. With the firewall client disabled
it works fine. The problem is I need the firewall client to access other
resources on the internet. I suppose when I enable the firewall client,
it is routing all request to the ISA server. Does anyone know of a
workaround for this? Thanks!

Jeb
