Fire wall client and MSN messenger

Hi All
i have intsalled fire wall client on my client machine and i suppose that now i
don't have to give any proxy settings in my MSN Messenger. But by doing that
MSN Messenger is not connected. It seems that MSN Messenger is still not
talking through Firewall Client. Is there any way to check Firewall client and
wether things are working properly
