Authentication required == web proxy or firewall client only.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the replies.

I have checked, and the proxy is configured for authentication. My proxy
contact tells me that it is this global property that would be causing
the
problem, and not the 'applies to' field in the rule as I expected. Cant
turn
of authentication, so...

The reason I am using socks, is that it is a legacy application that has
a
plugin that will only work through Socks. But that appears that it will
be a
problem.

So I am now looking into using a SecureNat client. But this isn't
working
either! From your last posts, and I right in thinking that this wont
work on
an authenticated proxy either? I have pointed routing to this external
host
via the internal int of the ISA server, but I am not seeing any entries
in
the ISA logs, or on the firewall.

Any help?
