Hi John, The SecureNAT client is a machine configured with a default gateway that can route Internet bound requests to the internal interface of the ISA Server firewall. This may or may not result in making the default gateway of a particular client the internal IP address of the ISA Server firewall. Although I am always open to the idea that I am DEAD wrong. No proxy settings does not a Secure Nat Client make. SNAT is by setting default gateway of client PC to the internal interface of ISA server. He will need the proxy settings to be able to access the internet to connect to the ftp site. Toggling FW client may correct the issue, IF his ftp rules are configured properly to begin with. ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: tshinder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
