I think that you can have more then 1 configuration ISA and it would be
best business practice for many reasons.
1. Someone TS/RDP in and stay signed on.
2. One of the system crashes.

etc.

Thank you,

Joseph

Subject: [isalist] Dumb Question But...

Really, really silly question here but...

In an ISA Array, should there only ever be one Configuration Storage
Server?

So, if Server A and Server B are part of Array A, both servers should
point to the same Configuration Storage Server, usually the one that was
installed first, correct? There shouldn't be a case where Server A uses
itself as the Configuration Storage Server with Server B also using
itself as a Configuration Storage Server?

If that's the case, can the above happen due to connectivity issues or
would the above only happen if someone monkied with the settings and
pointed both servers to themselves? And if I wanted Server A to be used
as the Configuration Storage Server by both array servers, should that
be as simple as point Server B to use Server A as the Configuration
Storage Server?

Cordially yours,
