Hi John, In the Quick Start Guide, I think I made it clear that you need to configure a stub domain in the event that you have an internal DNS server hosting internal resources. If I didn't make it clear, or if I didn't include that information, I should have :) HTH, Tom www.isaserver.org/shinder -----Original Message----- From: John Tolmachoff (Lists) [mailto:johnlist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 27, 2004 4:24 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] DNS on Internal Interface http://www.ISAserver.org In Tom's excellent article, "ISA Server 2000 Quick Start guide," it is said the DNS server on the Internal interface should point to ISA itself, and that ISA should be set up with DNS in CACHE only mode if a DNS server already exists on the Internal network. However, unless the ISA server knows of the internal DNS servers, it will have a hard time with domain communications, wouldn't it?
