Relying on RBLs for spam prevention is bad, no, make that very bad.

The war on spam takes time and effort. Using RBLs for spam prevention is
like saying I will keep the front door of my house locked and no one will
steal anything. 1: They can still get in through windows. 2: They can still
get in through other doors. 3: Your friends will be locked out.
