Hi everyone,

I would like to seek anybody's assistance with regards to configuring
firewall clients. We have recently deployed ISA Server and it seems to
work perfect until I came acrossed this problem with some Windows 95b
clients.

When installing the firewall client software, it installs without any
problem but upon using Internet Explorer to surf the net, an error saying
"Internet Explorer could not open the search page" pops up. Not knowing
how to address this error, I ended up configuring the computer as a web
proxy client and it can already browse the net. It's kinda surprising to
me since most of the windows 95b workstations I've configured before as a
firewall client works just how we want them to. And I think this is also
the reason why I receive an error when using Outlook Express 5 to retrieve
POP3 emails on that same PC.

I would really appreciate it if anybody can tell me how to go around this
problem or tell me what I have missed out.Do I need to do some
manipulation or reconfiguration to those workstations?

I have a stand-alone ISA Server 2000 (Standard version with SP1) on a W2K
machine (Server version with SP2). Client computers are Windows 95b based
and uses Internet Explorer 5 and Outlook Express 5.

Hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanks in advance.

JM
