Cannot authenticate with ISA Server

Hello all!
I'm having trouble on a single Windows 98 workstation on my network that, at it
appears, refuses to authenticate with ISA Server. This workstation can access
shares on my ISA 2000 server normally, it can access domain resources normally,
the only problem I have is that it cannot access resources on the Internet that
demand the "help" of the Firewall Client.
When I open a Telnet session or a FTP session, it says that to me, and a red
exclamation point appears on the FW client icon. I never saw this thing go
green. Applications that use web proxy function OK.
If I log on with the user of that Windows 98 workstation on another 98
workstation that also has firewall client, everything works ok.
My policies (protocol rules and site and content rules) are all per-user.
