I see that with database servers all of the time..... It's the "we'll just
add a hard drive" mentality....  Too bad RAID 5 don't work that way....

Actually, there's an upper limit to the cache size you can use effectively:
65GB per partition. While most sane folks wouldn't try to use that, I've had
more than one customer run face-first in to that limitation.

21 GB....how many users do u have....seems very much oversized to me..there
is a formula for working out the size of your cache you know...
