First of all, you need to find out what ports your installation of
bitdefender uses to update. You then need to create an access rule to
allow the traffic from your server to the bitdefender servers.

 

Read the Bitdefender manual, or search their support documents for the
port(s) range,

But when I bypass the ISA Server by means of plugging laptop direct to
DSL Router, everything updates okay. 

Use to successfully update my Fedora Core 5 server which house my
company website. but now it keeps failing.

 

I wishing I can master the art of analyzing ISAlogs, but for I am still
learning howto read these ISAlogs.
