It depends:
1. if the backup is server-initiated, then you only need a protocol rule
allowing port 6050
2. if it's client-initiated, you create a custom protocol and a
server-publishing rule from the DMZ to the ArcServer server.
The details depend on the actual setup between each client and the backup
servers.
..of course, they have to resolve each other's names, too.

Subject: [isalist] Backup Issue

http://www.ISAserver.org

We have ISA server in Integrated mode. We have 8 files servers in DMZ and
2 in the internal network. All those servers are SecureNat client.
We use arcserve Enterprise edition on the exchange server in the internal
network with HP Ultrium tape backup. The others files servers are setup
with the arcerve agent using the port 6050 including ISA.

It means, ISA use port 6050 for it's own Arcserve Agent.

Actually, the backup server can connect with arcserve agent on ISA server
and the others Intranet files servers but not with any of the DMZ servers

So How can I configure ISA to take the backup of DMZ files servers ?

Thanks for your help
