I'm not in control of the method of transport. It's an if you want your EDI transactions (read orders from the auto companies) then you'll do it this way situation. Will they never learn? http://www.ISAserver.org Secure FTP traffic? Wouldn't SFTP work, then? In the past with Windows environments, I've used OpenSSH for Windows with excellent results. Will they never learn? http://www.ISAserver.org I understand your point. I just didn't see that her point had anything at all to do with ISA. So the article doesn't apply, so what? I'd be more likely to recommend VPN to my clients if VPN were not such a hassle. I'm back from a short vacation and ready to tackle my first permanent VPN tunnel from an ISA server for a client to their VAN (a VAN is the go between for EDI transactions for those that don't have to deal with these monsters). Been putting it off because I know it's going to cause me nightmares. Can you believe that the VAN requires a permanent tunnel through which to send files via FTP? I understand trying to secure FTP traffic but I really don't like the idea that we have to keep the tunnel available at all times, just in case they have a file to transfer.
