Hi list,

Strange problem I got here:

We have one ISA array (two servers) and another ISA standalone. When I
access an external web site which is running a SAP Internet Transaction
server (that is a product from SAP to access SAP backend servers over the
web using IIS and a plug in on the frontend) I only get access to the
application over the standalone. When browsing over the array it is not
possible to log on and receive a right session.

The error displayed in the browser after log on is:

----------------------------
Invalid Session
You have tried to use a WWW session that has already been terminated. You
should restart your session. If the problem persists you should close your
World Wide Web browser and open it again.
----------------------------

The page that should come up after the login consists of three frames.
Sometimes the error is only displayed in two frames, sometimes it is
diplayed in all three and sometimes the whole frameset?!

I use an automatic configuration script to browse over the array. Since this
returns different ISA array members to the client to use for different URLs
(the three frames) might it be possible that somehow the SAP ITS gets
confused about a session that comes from different ip addresses (array
members)?

As a workaround I suggest the user to use the standalone proxy but this
solution is not satisfying for me. Maybe there is another solution? What do
you think about my explanation of the "confused SAP session"?

Greetings from Germany

Christian
