Hi Sean,

If you're into HTTP and HTTP tunneled FTP content inspection and virus
protection, the GFI DownloadSecurity is really nice. I've been using is
for several months and have no compliants. Doesn't cause problems,
doesn't break anything, and no noticiable performance issues. No
breaking things is really important to me, since my life seems to be
dedicated to fixing problems other programs/updates cause to my smooth
running configs :)

HTH,
Tom

The Cadillac of this group of software is Websense -
http://www.websense.com/ . Websense allows for quota management, content
management, download management, the works. While we have yet to
implement this product, I have several associates who use it who will
literally rant your ear off about how good it is.

Good Afternoon All,

I need some advice. I am looking for a product that will scan http
before it hits the desktop browser and additional features that allow
control of downloads, etc. I have narrowed my search down to GFI
Download Security or possibly the new product by Symantec for ISA.

Does anyone have any advice to offer or experience whether good/bad?

Thanks again to this list for all your help.
