There is a way to do it, but impossible if you are using Voiceover.
Until recently I had over 16000 emails on my iPhone, this was due to all the
mailing lists I had joined.
The only way I found on how to delete them was to use my computer and log
into Virgin Media's mail server. In there,I was able to mass delete all
emails.
I then hadd to delete the iPhone's mail app and reinstall it again, and at
last my in box was empty.
I wrote to Apple about the problem and believe it or not the reply I got was
to flip up with one finger and tap the delete key. Lol, 16000 times, no
bloody way.
