Thank you for your email.
Since we received your email there has been a further announcement which I
have provided below.
I have advised management in relation to the font size query you mentioned
for any future updates.
"SAAS recently announced changes to our Ambulance Cover scheme to no longer
cover the cost of ambulance attendance that is provided for members who are
interstate.
These changes to the terms and conditions were made following a regular
review of South Australian Ambulance Cover, to ensure SAAS continues to
offer a high-quality, sustainable product for South Australians.
Given the considerable community interest in these changes, SAAS will
maintain the current nationwide coverage of Ambulance Cover for anyone
renewing before 31 July 2016.
SAAS has brought forward an independent review of our Ambulance Cover
scheme, to identify alternative structures which may include tiered pricing
options to cater for members requiring nationwide cover.
Anyone who has renewed their cover recently, or if their renewal is due
before 31 July 2016, will continue to receive nationwide cover for the next
12 months.
We will inform Ambulance Cover members of this update and of the outcome of
the independent review."
