Hello Friends,
Our trip to the Lower East Side Tenement Museum has been scheduled for
Saturday, August 4th at 11:00 a.m.
Please come to 108 Orchard Street between Delancey and Broom Streets
(closer to Delancey) by 10:45 a.m.
We will be visiting Victoria Contino in her home on the Lower East Side .
This is an interactive, hands on dialogue with a new immigrat from 1913.
You will sit with her, ask her questions, and examine the artifacts she
and her family use.
The folks who have signed up as of July 26 include:
Daryl, Sharon, Sharron, Sandy, Maria, and Lynnette
We can accomodate 2 more people so if you are interested please let me
know by Thursday, August 2nd. Please feel free to contact me with any
