Evening, All.
These days when you register for just about any web service, you are bound to
encounter what is known as visual verification aka captias. Some websites,
such as craigslist, facebook and twitter have an audio captia, which can be
solved by some people who are blind and partially sighted. they are, however,
rare indeed.
Bernard Maldonado, founder of the Solona captia solving website
(www.solona.net) desperately needs our help in finding volunteers who are
sighted who can solve these annoying but ubiquitous distorted letters and
words. He has created software and a website for just this noble purpose.
I have used this service many times and it has saved what little sanity I
possess. I am asking you to contact anyone you know who might want to help him
in this effort.
