Morning, Al.. Obtaining a reference guide first is an excellent idea.As it's not possible to have a loaner, you'll at least have a clue on how to use the phone. Truly, the phone is like any device, the more you work with it, the better you'll become at using it. You know that those of us who have the device will do our best to help you with the gestures and such. Have fun! Well, seems that I'm going to be taking the Iphone plunge. Last Monday morning, I made the call to National Braille Press and order the daisy CD called getting started using the Iphone. I think that what I'm going to try, is to study that guide first, to see if what I learn from it, before I order it next month as that is when my contract is up for renewal with my carrier, which is verizon. I only wish that I could have one that I could play with, as verizon only gives 14 days before you can return it. If I had one that I could play with for a longer period of time, like 21, or 30 days, I'd feel little easier. I only hope that I'll be successful learning it as those of you that already have one.
