Hi list,
I'm not sure whether you'd have to initiate it somehow. I watched the video and read more about it, and didn't see any specific operation instructions. I'll let you know if I do hear. One cool thing I learned, though, is that if you have songs in all different languages on your Shuffle, VoiceOver will automatically discern which language the title and artist's name are in and pronounce them accordingly. You can hear samples on Apple's web site, I believe it's on the main iPod Shuffle page at apple.com/iPodShuffle. Oh, and the voice that is used if you're syncing your iPod with a PC rather than a Mac is different, but I still think it's not bad.
   Happy Friday Morning!

Thanks for the info, Eliza.
Very cool! Do you think they adhere to the same process where you must check the box in iTunes for it to speak? I was unable to watch the video. <growl>

Hi list,
Had you all heard about this? It definitely is causing quite a buzz. VoiceOver, the synthesizer that's on this Shuffle, is really a great voice, FYI.
   Have a good Thursday, all.
