Using Mac Applications with VoiceOver

When: Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Where: VISIONS at Selis Manor, 135 W. 23rd Street, New York, NY

For more than 20 years, Apple has provided new and innovative solutions for
people with disabilities. In April of 2005, Apple created VoiceOver, a
full-featured screen reading technology for the visually impaired which
provides full keyboard control of the computer along with spoken audio
descriptions. Since then, VoiceOver has become the most widely available and
affordable screen reader on the market.

Join us in the auditorium at Selis Manor on January twenty second from 6:00 -
8:00 PM when professional staff from VISIONS/Services for the blind will
present a demo of Mac Applications with VoiceOver. During this presentation we
will explore How VoiceOver assists blind and visually impaired users send and
receive E-Mail, surf the Internet, produce documents, and more.

This event is presented free of charge; however, registration is required.
