Welcome to the Industrial/EBM/Aggrotech Virtual Dance Parties Email
List!
The nightclubs may be closed, but that doesn't mean we have to stop
having fun. We can still dance it up online!
This group is focused on bringing people together for virtual dance
parties, leaning mostly towards industrial/EBM/aggrotech and other
darker/harder electronic music genres. We're mostly in Colorado or on
the West Coast, in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones. We're not
officially connected with any one DJ or live stream. We just pick our
favorite live music stream, tune into one of them, and then jump on a
video conference like Zoom, so we can see each other dancing.
Events will usually be on a Friday or Saturday night. Goth/fetish
attire, costumes, crazy outfits, and decorations encouraged, but not
required.
We only have a few rules:
1. No harassing other members
2. No lurkers - if you going to jump on the meeting, please join in the
fun and share your video!
3. We strive to make this a safe space, even online. The following
actions or display of behavior will not be tolerated: bigotry, racism,
sexism, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, ableism, and any hateful
comments.
In the past we have done virtual dance parties for both the Deviant live
stream by DJ Slave1 out of Denver and the Kremwerk x SIN live stream by
DJ Shane Aungst from Seattle. Our goal is the bring you the best music
in these genres (especially live streams that don't already have virtual
dance party) and have an awesome time dancing!
