I am looking for a letter quality dot

single page as well as continuous feed paper.
Epson and TVSE dot matrix printers work well. TVSE supplies ppd file also.
For epson you can use what is available with cups.
I feel cups and dot matrix are not good combination. The printing quality and
speed is generally very poor. In my opinion DMP are fit for text only
printing, though graphics supported.
For text only printing I avoid cups, and use a perl scripts to simply use cat
/dev/lp?? with appropriate printer controls. Speed in this method is verygood.
LQ printing is better done by printer settings than through cups/other
software.
