i'm using FC4. previously i was having a kernel
2.6.11.... i updated it by
using the command "yum update" and my kernel changed
to 2.6.15-1.1831_FC4.
when i try to transfer a file using scp
scp has nothing to do with your kernel upgrade.
it doesn't
work. but it used to work
before i did yum update.
I guess yum update has updated your scp and /etc
configuration files.
the ouput of scp is as follows:
[root@localhost ~]# scp -r ~/aaa/project/serializer
I use:
scp -r directory/ user@host:/path/to/directory
For example:
scp -r foo/ david@192.168.0.1:/home/david
You can add an entry for 192.168.0.1 in /etc/hosts to
use a name instead of an IP address.
Can you check if ssh into the target system works?
