I had done this long back when I had multiple email IDs. Now a days, I
*think* the following will work.
1. In the Settings -> Configure KMail -> Accounts - create multiple
Receiving mails IDs and SMTP Servers(you might have done this already)
2. in Settings -> Configure KMail --> Manage Identities, Create a new
Identity. 3. In the manage id window, Go to the Advanced Tab, click on
special transport and choose the SMTP server of choice. (Each ID should
have a different Email address in the General Tab and a different transport
in the advanced tab)
4. In the compose window, click on VIEW-> Identity
From now on, you can choose the identity you want to send the mail. It
will use the corresponding From address and the corresponding SMTP
server.
The relaying gets denied because the from address is different.
