[Ilugc] time slice

i want to find the time slice for each thread when there are several threads
executing concurrently.i have created threads using posix thread library.
when i use gettimeofday to find this out,its showing erratic values each time
i run.is there a method to find out the time slice?

Can you give some statistics?
