hOW do i make a C program suid with owner
with write permission on /etc/passwd
Any pointers?

But with lcdproc, you can monitor remote machines by installing the

there. In fact that's what I am doing currently. To avoid major damage,

any occured due to gross error, I connected the LCD to my Pentium I
machine
running RH 6.2. I ran the server in that machine. I installed the client
in my Debian machine and am monitoring it.
But yes, you have a point. LCD4linux is more configurable. That includes
the signals you send thru the parallel port!
