This would be a highly customised application, depending on the rules
framed by the institution for evaluating performance of students. I
guess, this would also involve study of the Education Code to generate
forms as prescribed.
If you can hack and work with the scripts I have written for my Calpp
project, that is still in the _BETA_ stage, it might help you. Calpp is
for executing rules and procedures in general. My last four summer
vacations were spent writing the code, and I do hope, this summer I can
finish writing the code and documentation.
Calpp runs on systems installed with Apache, PHP 4 and PostgreSQL.
Calpp basically provides a framework for storing procedures and
executing them as proceedings. Forms could be generated to collect,
validate and store data for generating reports or doing analysis. Calpp
is licensed under the GPL and if some procedures are written pursuant to
this for your school, may be other schools could also get to use them.
I do spend some part of my vacation at Salem, which is my native too,
and would be glad to get involved in developing procedures that could be
used to run schools, according to the TN Education Code.
