pine seems to b non-GPL s/w.
So? There is a lot of software bundled with linux that has other licenses
than GPL.
I recently read mutt manual which says
POP, IMAP access as optional settings, so does that mean it was not
Precompiled mutt builds (rpm / deb / freebsd packages etc) come with pop3 /
imap / ssl etc all enabled. But you'd be better off using a mail fetcher
program like fetchmail to get your mail to your mailbox.
