[Ilugc] r commands from solaris to linux

Hi,

Inspite of having .rhosts file, r commands still doesn't 
work between a solaris box (server1) & my linux PC... if 
any of you've sucessfully used .rhosts for r cmds between
a solaris & linux servers pls let me know...
