If i am not wrong you are trying to implement a chat application. Right !
Now as far as the *firewalling* is concerned, how do u propose to implement it
? Is this firewalling for the specific app ? If so then you can implement
in the lines of *trusted hosts * in the app. If the firewalling is *not* for
the specific app, but for the entire box , controlled using the app (I dont see
the reason why any1 wld want 2 do something like this, but still..) then use
do u intend to say that i can do my firewall
implementation without any background application.if
so tell me how can i present it?iam doing this project
for our college year of science exhibition where we
have to exhibit our project. so showing that i have
implemented firewall using the code will not be
good.give me some suggestions

the great mistake that i did was i accepted my
as firewall implementation.if iam going to use theproject
firewall that comes along with application then it
will as if iam concentrating on application rather
than firewall.that is,it becomes aloof from my
name. But I thought you mentioned that u were trying to
implement the application also urself ? Even
otherwise, changing the firewall rules of a box for
the sake of 1 application is not a feasible option(
Correct me if i am wrong !
