[Ilugc] problem in running eclipse

JAVA_HOME=/home/sutha/java/jdk1.5.0

export JAVA_HOME PATH


I have a soft link to a JRE in the eclipse path.
Inside the ECLIPSE folder, I have a the following link

kumar@Ayodhya:/opt/SDE4.0-Professional/eclipse$ ls -al | grep jre
lrwxrwxrwx   1 kumar kumar     19 2008-05-09 19:28 jre -> ../jdk1.5.0_14/jre/

Please note that the link is to the JRE folder within the JDK.


Also, IIRC .profile was read by many systems automatically. .xinitrc
might also be a good place to add your PATH stuff.
