when i type beryl-manager in terminal my X session gets restarted, without
knowing this i have added it in my startup programs of gnome session. Now
whenever i login it X gets restarted and i can never get in. How can i
overcome this problem??
Manually remove the corresponding entry from /usr/share/autostart (or
equivalent for your distro) using the tty1 console (ctrl-alt-f1).
i dont have any entry in /usr/share/autostart (moreover i don even have that
file too).
i came across two files in my HOME dir,
edited the list entry from file
/home/sathyz/.gconf/apps/gnome-settings/gnome-session-properties/%gconf.xml
and removed
/home/sathyz/.config/autostart/beryl-manager.desktop
in tty1 and now my gnome goes perfectly.
