In addition to what Sivasankar Chander said, I am
giving you the tutorial for "make" that explains how
to write a Makefile:

Generally in opensource Project More and More files
will be available in the "src" directory.

If I want to compile that directory after modifying
anything in any of the files I have make the whole
directory by giving 'make' command It will make the
whole file.

But I want a method so that It has to compile only
the
modified and the executabel should use the
modification

Can any one tell me the method How I can acheive
that
thank U .. :-)
