I use a Dell latitude notebook running RH9. I have init 3 as runlevel.
After login: prompt is displayed (few seconds later) I have a message
concatenated with the login prompt as shown below -
login: spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7
When I hit the enter key again it shows a clean login prompt and I'm
able to proceed as usual. Though I can operate normally irrespective
of this strange message in the beginning, thought I should clarify
what it does mean. Any idea?
